West Eagle

Coming Soon | The proposed West Eagle development sits on a 9.5-acre infill site, nestled between several neighborhoods within the Town of Eagle. This property is under the ownership of Eagle County and the Eagle County Housing and Development Authority (ECHDA).

West Eagle will feature 113 housing units distributed across 23 buildings, offering a diverse mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units in various forms including condos, townhomes, duplexes, and triplexes. Notably, most ground-floor one-bedroom units will be designed to meet accessibility standards. Emphasizing sustainability, the development is planned to be all-electric and net-zero-ready, adhering to strict efficiency and performance criteria.

The West Eagle Application Materials have already been submitted to the Town of Eagle for review.

ECHDA will develop, construct and sell all 113 price-capped deed-restricted units to Eligible Households requiring owners to live and work in Eagle County and earn between 100-140% of Area Median Income (AMI).

Connectivity is an essential component of West Eagle. The development will utilize its infill characteristics to maximize connectivity within the neighborhood and the surrounding areas. Walking and bike trails will connect residents to the Town's neighborhood trail system and provide connectivity from nearby residential areas and commercial zones along Grand Avenue.

West Eagle conforms to the Town of Eagle West Eagle Sub Area Plan by providing a development that integrates into the surrounding area, offering a financial benefit to the town, providing multifunctional green space, constructing a portion of the Brush Creek Road Extension, and acting as a redevelopment that benefits the greater community.

West Eagle conforms to the Elevate Eagle Plan and Town of Eagle Comprehensive Plan by stimulating economic vitality and development, diversifying the attainable housing stock, strengthening town organization and culture, focusing on recreation and open space, and matching infrastructure to quality of life.

West Eagle conforms to the Town of Eagle Strategic Plan by expanding and diversifying economic opportunities, enhancing the vibrancy and viability of downtown, celebrating its unique small-town character, connecting neighborhoods physically and visually through trail-oriented environments, maintaining and improving the Town’s appearance, and broadening the network of safe and convenient pedestrian and bicycle circulation.
